Asha Pants, the best pants ever.

Posted on October 02 2014

Well it is a big statement to make, but i think the Asha Pants are the best pants ever. In a world of skinny jeans it is nice to wear pants that are full of volume to be super comfy and cool for the upcoming summer. These pants have an interesting pleating at the front which make them unique and look great with a simple singlet or tee, but can also be put together with any top combo. The waistband is flat at the centre front with 7.5cm wide soft knitted elastic at the sides and back. You can eat all you like when wearing these, the can stretch out without being tight and creating a 'muffin top'. The pockets are hidden at the front behind the drape of the pleats etc.

The Asha pants come in two different fabrications. The striped cotton fabrics are beautiful Italian shirting fabrics given the usual treatment, pre-washed, put on a coat hanger to dry with no ironing. They are available in a fine lime green stripe as well as the silver/black stripe. With the first two deliveries all selling out before they reached our on line store, the last of the fabric has been made up now and the few pants available are on line.

The washed Viscose fabric version falls very differently to the cotton version. I love both, wearing the washed Viscose if I want a softer look, especially for an evening look. I wore these all winter with leggings under, so they can be worn across all seasons. They are available in black and bark colour and this version will be an on going style as we are to get continued supply of this fabric, which is the same fabric we use in the famous Triumph pants, for those who have a pair (or 5) of them and know how great the fabric is to wear.

The sizing is loose on the Asha pants and i wanted it to not be too tight at the waist, but some people have been going down a size, so keep this in mind when deciding which size you want to purchase. It also depends where you like your pants to sit, on the waist or dropped onto the hips. They look good both ways.

If you are lucky enough to have some of these already, I hope you love them as much as I do.

Cheers

Sarah
