Behind the Scenes - RANT shoot for 'Remedy' collection.
•Posted on February 28 2019
Yesterday on Wednesday 27th Feb we had the RANT photo shoot for the new collection: Remedy.
It was a fun day but lots of work too. Jay and I snapped off a few behind the scenes pics to share. Above is our 'Remedy' model Sophia getting her hair and make up done by Alarna. We had the shoot in our fav local studio at Fox St Albion which was where we have done a couple of other shoots.
Remedy is a collection of mostly pants and simple tops that are super easy to wear now and through to the cooler weather. We made most of the new styles in Japanese made fabrics because of the amazing feel and quality.
I styled the outfits with many shoes and boots from my own personal collection as well as a couple of shoes with heels. Putting the outfits together is what I enjoy the most as it's playing dress up's. Seeing those outfits on a model on photoshoot day is the pinnacle!
We have worked with our trusty photographer Todd Hunter McGaw for over 10 years, so we have such a history together and know what we have done before and what works. This doesn't mean that we do the same thing, in fact we make sure that we always try something a little different, based on what we liked from the results of previous shoots/collections.
This was the third shoot we have done with our Hair and Makeup master, Alarna Taylor. We wanted the makeup to be simple and clean looking, adding more definition as the day went on. Below are pics of Alarna running in to do some fine tuning and a close up of the make up.
The Remedy Collection will be ready to launch mid March. We are busy producing all the styles at the moment and can't wait to share it with you all.
If you want to keep up to date you could follow us on Instagram, or look at those posts on our home page.
The outfit in the pic above is my most loved from the collection. The Druid dress over the Grove pants.............. I will reveal more when I have the pics back and the collection is ready to launch....... but I must say that the Grove pants are a must, soft Japanese Tencel/cotton, flowy, soft, amazing to wear.
Cheers
Sarah
