Carrie Tails and Carrie Vest

At last my most fav piece is available in limited quantities. The Carrie Tails and Carrie Vests are the highlight pieces in the 'Who Wears the Pants' collection. These vest shapes can be worn summer or winter, dressy or casual and over many outfits.
Below is the Carrie Tails in the stretch cotton pinstripe fabric worn over the Helen pants in the same fabric. This can be worn with a simple bamboo jersey Yvette top or a singlet in warmer weather. Both the vest and tails versions of Carrie styles feature contrast pockets, back yoke and tabs for the drawcord detail. They are cut from a Italian cotton sateen fabric which matches all three fabrications. The double drawcord detail is able to adjust the sizing to suit the wearer's shape or if you have something more bulky underneath.
They have a zipper closure which is a YKK metal zipper on the denim version and an Italian RiRi zipper in gunmetal on the black and pinstripe. These zippers are so beautiful that they are almost like wearing an accessory.
The denim version is a totally different look, denim matches everything and can be worn more casually too. Below is the Carrie Tails in denim worn over the Viv top in the lacey print, the Jana pants and to add a nice semi sheer flow to the outfit we have added the Sarah overlay dress in the washed viscose crepe fabric.
Below is the Carrie Tails in denim layered up with the warmer under layers. Starting with the wool Nellie Pants and bamboo Multitude top (bottom right corner) Then the wool Coco top in marle stripe is layered on top and the option to add the last vest layer completes an awesome outfit.
The black version was not featured much in our photo shoot as black versions of garments always sell for us. The fabric is a blend of cotton/viscose/linen/lycra. It has a beautiful sheen to the surface and drapes wonderfully. If you wear lots of black like me, This black fabric has such a nice sheen that it actually stands out over other black layers.
The Carrie Vest is the same as the Carrie Tails but without the tails. Both are great, the tails may be a little full on for some people so the shorter vest option is more suitable.
We did only make these styles in limited quantities, we only made 16 of each fabric in the Carrie Tails and only 26 of each fabric in the Carrie Vest.
So enjoy something unique and special that is also Australian made.
