The Carrie vest will make any simple outfit look great.
It has many panels to create a slim shape and a centre front zipper for easy closure. The zipper is a YKK matt black metal one and a nice detail along with the cute coin pockets, back yoke and drawcord made from a cotton fabric created from rows of stitching. The entire vest is bound in a cotton bias.
The double drawcords on the back can be worn loosely or tightened to adjust the fit.
This version of the Carrie vest is made from a stunning Japanese stretch cotton/modal fabric. It has lots of stretch and the surface has a gentle sheen. The colour is almost black with a dash of deep green to it.
All 3 fabrics used in this vest are slightly different tones of black highlighting the details subtly.
Limited edition of 14 made, as very limited fabric. These are part of our Archive project as we strive towards zero waste. I had two small pieces of this fabric, sampling from years ago, that I could use if I did a style with small pattern pieces and hand cut them all. Labour intensive but worth it to use this beautiful fabric at last.

FIT
This is a semi fitted style with lots of stretch in the fabric. The 2 back drawcords allow you to adjust to your personal fit. Designed to wear tops underneath, this version is looser than the previous ones made in 2017, allowing more bust room.
The curly blonde model, Lou wears a size S and is 173cm tall.
