This summer dress by RANT Clothing is made in Australia
This soft floaty dress was created to make the most of the super slinky fabric. A simple slip on style with hand bound armholes & neckline which are a subtle contrast in colour (we call it carbon) and stitched with silver thread. The Detour dress is made from 8 panels, each offering shape and flare. The midi length makes it suitable for all heights. It looks perfect worn on its own or layered with pants or a maxi skirt underneath.
Note from Sarah: The fabric is amazing, so incredibly buttery soft, I couldn't resist buying it because I wanted to wear it, however it proved really hard to work with, cutting and sewing! So the last couple of small rolls has sat in our storage for many seasons. This year we found a maker who could tackle sewing task so we created this panelled dress. The photos don't give justice to this dress because it's all about the feel, the subtle details.
This garment is prewashed in rainwater at our home studio.

FIT
This is made from a woven fabric without stretch. While it is a floaty style, it is bound to a set measure to fit nicely and not gape. Buy true to size or for larger busts, upsize. If you plan to wear it mostly as a pinafore with tops underneath, upsize as I did for this option on Ruby.
Our curly hair model Ruby is 185cm and wears a size medium. Brown haired model, Stacy is 180cm tall and fits a size x-small.
Shipping
Orders are dispatched Monday to Thursday with a cutoff time of 11am (Brisbane time). All parcels require a signature on delivery. Please ensure your delivery address is suitable for receiving your order during business hours.
SHIPPING RATES
FREE SHIPPING applies for all orders greater than $200.
FLATE RATE shipping applies for other orders of $9.95 or $15 if you would like Express shipping.
LOCAL PICKUP
If you live locally and would like to pickup your order, use the code 'studiopickup' at the checkout to remove any shipping charges. We will contact you to confirm your order and organise a suitable pickup time.
SPECIAL REQUESTS
We are more than happy to accommodate any special requests for deliveries. For example if you have a safe place you wish your parcel to be left without a signature, include this in the notes section of the shopping cart (we are not responsible for any lost items though). You are able to enter a business address during the checkout process for delivery also.
GIFTS
We do have the option to purchase gift vouchers for your friends & family. A code will automatically be emailed to you and you can request a PDF to print that we will email separately, just request this in the notes section. Please note we are also happy to include a handwritten note with a purchase if you wish to send a present directly to someone special. Again include any details as a note and we will get in touch if there are any questions (don't worry we will not include a copy of the invoice with any gifts sent).
TRACKING
Parcels are delivered using Australia Post and tracking details will be emailed to you.
WORLDWIDE DELIVERIES
We no longer deliver parcels outside of Australia.

Returns
We are happy for you to return items for a refund or exchange. To organise a return, items must be unused and in original condition, so all tags must still be attached. Please take care when trying clothes on to ensure no pet hair or strong smells are present also.
COMPLETING YOUR RETURN
To complete your return, simply email us (contact@sustainablefashion.com.au) with details of your request and send your items to: Sustainable Fashion, 4 Warralong St, The Gap, QLD 4061 AUSTRALIA. Once your return is received, we will email you with a response.
FREE EXCHANGE
While you will need to organise your own shipping of the return item, to simply exchange for a different size we will send the first exchange free of charge.
We can also exchange for a different item if you like. Any difference will be refunded or if further payment is required we will simply send through an order to complete to pay for the difference.
REFUNDS
Shipping costs are non-refundable, but of course if an item is found to be faulty on return, all postage costs will be refunded. Refunds will be processed using the original payment method.SENDING YOUR RETURN
We recommend using registered post when sending items back as we are not responsible for any lost items during transit.
Our policy lasts 14 days from the date you receive your order.
