Ethically made in Australia from Japanese cottons
The Juxtapose top is a new top that we created from a 2016 dress style. It has a cute extended shoulder that creates a 'sleeve' look which is nice in summer. The neckline is a V shape and at centre front it has pleat stitched down which makes a nice detail but also adds extra room. It's designed to wear simply out over the top of your skirt or pants, but it can also be tucked in if you prefer.
This top made from a beautiful Egyptian cotton, which is made from long staple 2 ply yarn that's woven into fabric in Japan. It is mercerized to reduce the weight and give it a silky smooth finish. It's hard to believe it's actually cotton. This fabric is perfect as a summer top as it's so light and cool to wear without being sheer. The contrast yoke is a 'bubble textured' Italian cotton fabric that I have held onto since it was used as a jacket trim back in 2006. We only had enough to make a dozen of these tops, so they are very limited edition.
FABRIC
100% Egyptian cotton made into fabric in Japan (105 gsm weight).
The contrast yoke is 100% cotton made in Italy.
Neckline bind is 100% cotton bias.
It has been prewashed in rainwater at the RANT studio.
CARE
Handwash or gentle machine wash in cold water.

FIT
Runs true to size for a loose comfortable fit, meant to be worn loose and not fitted. Our model Lou is 173cm tall and wears size small.
