The Portulaca skirt/pant is 100% made in Brisbane
The Portulaca skirt/pants is such a great style from a RANT 2007 collection. It's back by popular demand, this time it's in a striped Japanese Tencel fabric that gives a denim feel.
We have only made them in sizes S-XL as the waistband is a 'paperbag' type, with pleats stitched in and then you use the custom made belt that comes with them to pull them in to fit. They can be worn at the waist or slung low on the hips.
There is an invisible zipper on the left side and a single patch pocket on the right front side. The pocket is made from a grey marle cotton fabric which we also used for the back facing and the leg facings.
This style looks best when a top is tucked in so you can see all the detail at the waist, including the cotton belt which is decorated with french cotton ribbon. But you can wear a top over as another option and it does look good that way too.
This style is prewashed in rainwater at our home studio.
FABRIC
100% Tencel made in Japan with 100% cotton trims. 190 gsm weight.
Belt is 100% cotton webbing made in Australia with french cotton ribbon trims.
CARE
Handwash or machine wash in cold water with eco-friendly detergent in a wash bag.

Shipping
Orders are dispatched Monday to Thursday with a cutoff time of 11am (Brisbane time). All parcels require a signature on delivery. Please ensure your delivery address is suitable for receiving your order during business hours.
SHIPPING RATES
FREE SHIPPING applies for all orders greater than $200.
FLATE RATE shipping applies for other orders of $9.95 or $15 if you would like Express shipping.
LOCAL PICKUP
If you live locally and would like to pickup your order, use the code 'studiopickup' at the checkout to remove any shipping charges. We will contact you to confirm your order and organise a suitable pickup time.
SPECIAL REQUESTS
We are more than happy to accommodate any special requests for deliveries. For example if you have a safe place you wish your parcel to be left without a signature, include this in the notes section of the shopping cart (we are not responsible for any lost items though). You are able to enter a business address during the checkout process for delivery also.
GIFTS
We do have the option to purchase gift vouchers for your friends & family. A code will automatically be emailed to you and you can request a PDF to print that we will email separately, just request this in the notes section. Please note we are also happy to include a handwritten note with a purchase if you wish to send a present directly to someone special. Again include any details as a note and we will get in touch if there are any questions (don't worry we will not include a copy of the invoice with any gifts sent).
TRACKING
Parcels are delivered using Australia Post and tracking details will be emailed to you.
WORLDWIDE DELIVERIES
We no longer deliver parcels outside of Australia.

Returns
We are happy for you to return items for a refund or exchange. To organise a return, items must be unused and in original condition, so all tags must still be attached. Please take care when trying clothes on to ensure no pet hair or strong smells are present also.
COMPLETING YOUR RETURN
To complete your return, simply email us (contact@sustainablefashion.com.au) with details of your request and send your items to: Sustainable Fashion, 4 Warralong St, The Gap, QLD 4061 AUSTRALIA. Once your return is received, we will email you with a response.
FREE EXCHANGE
While you will need to organise your own shipping of the return item, to simply exchange for a different size we will send the first exchange free of charge.
We can also exchange for a different item if you like. Any difference will be refunded or if further payment is required we will simply send through an order to complete to pay for the difference.
REFUNDS
Shipping costs are non-refundable, but of course if an item is found to be faulty on return, all postage costs will be refunded. Refunds will be processed using the original payment method.SENDING YOUR RETURN
We recommend using registered post when sending items back as we are not responsible for any lost items during transit.
Our policy lasts 14 days from the date you receive your order.
