The Hilda pants have been designed to be comfy jeans. They have our signature fold down organic cotton stretch waistband which is nice and soft and can be worn in a few ways - you can read our journal to find out more here.
The pockets have been designed to make the most of the contrast between the face of the fabric and the lighter coloured reverse. The front pockets have tape on the opening edge. Both front and back pockets have been stitched with a contrast silver thread to add to the detail of these pants.
The leg is loose and tapers down towards the hem. They can be worn long or rolled up at the hem to show the contrast reverse of the fabric and your footwear.
These pants are made from the famous Kaihara denim.
Kaihara is the premium standard denim, with 100% of the process done at their facilities in Japan since 1893. They have a strong environmental ethic and pride themselves on their quality craftsmanship.
The new version is made from a soft medium weight black Japanese denim which is lots softer and lighter than the previous denims we have used. Also the pants have been slimmed down a little as we didn't need to prewash this fabric in a 60 degrees hot wash. Also we have used a slightly stretchier organic cotton fabric for the waistband, making these pants even more comfy.
FABRIC
Main - 95% cotton/ 5% elastane - Japanese black denim - 270gsm. Fabric made in Japan.
Waistband - 86% organic cotton, 14% black spandex (GOTS certified, 265gsm). Fabric made in Queensland, Australia.
CARE
Handwash or machine wash in cold water with eco-friendly detergent.

FIT
This style is a straight leg pant, designed to be slimmer than the Helen pants but just as comfortable. The fabric has been prewashed therefore will loosen up when you wear it. We recommend buying your true size.
Zhoe our model is 175cm tall and wears size small.
Shipping
Orders are dispatched Monday to Thursday with a cutoff time of 11am (Brisbane time). All parcels require a signature on delivery. Please ensure your delivery address is suitable for receiving your order during business hours.
SHIPPING RATES
FREE SHIPPING applies for all orders greater than $200.
FLATE RATE shipping applies for other orders of $9.95 or $15 if you would like Express shipping.
LOCAL PICKUP
If you live locally and would like to pickup your order, use the code 'studiopickup' at the checkout to remove any shipping charges. We will contact you to confirm your order and organise a suitable pickup time.
SPECIAL REQUESTS
We are more than happy to accommodate any special requests for deliveries. For example if you have a safe place you wish your parcel to be left without a signature, include this in the notes section of the shopping cart (we are not responsible for any lost items though). You are able to enter a business address during the checkout process for delivery also.
GIFTS
We do have the option to purchase gift vouchers for your friends & family. A code will automatically be emailed to you and you can request a PDF to print that we will email separately, just request this in the notes section. Please note we are also happy to include a handwritten note with a purchase if you wish to send a present directly to someone special. Again include any details as a note and we will get in touch if there are any questions (don't worry we will not include a copy of the invoice with any gifts sent).
TRACKING
Parcels are delivered using Australia Post and tracking details will be emailed to you.
WORLDWIDE DELIVERIES
We no longer deliver parcels outside of Australia.

Returns
We are happy for you to return items for a refund or exchange. To organise a return, items must be unused and in original condition, so all tags must still be attached. Please take care when trying clothes on to ensure no pet hair or strong smells are present also.
COMPLETING YOUR RETURN
To complete your return, simply email us (contact@sustainablefashion.com.au) with details of your request and send your items to: Sustainable Fashion, 4 Warralong St, The Gap, QLD 4061 AUSTRALIA. Once your return is received, we will email you with a response.
FREE EXCHANGE
While you will need to organise your own shipping of the return item, to simply exchange for a different size we will send the first exchange free of charge.
We can also exchange for a different item if you like. Any difference will be refunded or if further payment is required we will simply send through an order to complete to pay for the difference.
REFUNDS
Shipping costs are non-refundable, but of course if an item is found to be faulty on return, all postage costs will be refunded. Refunds will be processed using the original payment method.SENDING YOUR RETURN
We recommend using registered post when sending items back as we are not responsible for any lost items during transit.
Our policy lasts 14 days from the date you receive your order.
